Monday Odds and Ends

I had a very nice Mothers Day. I hope you did too.
I took a break this weekend, because sometimes
the fount of blather just runs dry. The funny thing,
is I think in blog posts. I find myself wording things
and writing in my head in quiet moments so I guess
it is easier to just write here. Also, writing helps me to
not dream so much. I could hardly sleep this weekend
because the dreams were so vivid.

I had a couple of things I wanted to share the first one
is my son William,

We had to attend a banquet because of the scholarship
He won. He will be next to fly the coop and go off to college.
I am not very good at letting my chicks go out into the world.
I spend lots of time in my flowerbeds when I have one
who is going to fly. I have found it is nice place to water
flowers and not let anyone know.

This is our two other sons, they made stilts and were
learning to walk on them. This is stilts 0.1. I should have
got today's version of silts 0.2 they put handles on them
and walked all over the place with them.
It was a very nice day.
Happy Monday!

I'm glad you were able to take a blogging break but I sure was glad to see today's post.
I didn't give my babies up to the grown-up, leave the roost part very easily either. We want them to grow up and be able to function on their own, but I just wish the growing up process took a lot longer!
Looks like your younger two boys are getting every fun ounce possible out of life!
Have a wonderful day!

*Sniff* I don't want any clan members to move away! But I suppose it has to be. What if his wife lives down there? Hee hee hee.

Was it nice to take a break? I've been thinking of blog posts in bundles, so I just queue them up and let them post themselves.

Also, stilts for the win. :-)

Congrats on the scholarship! And how fun those stilts look!

Kim I have a friend who tried my air glider and did not like it at all. She loves her treadmill. I like both, but the air glider is easier for me. I've seen them at yard sales as low as $15.
