Dangerous Food is Best

I had someone tell me today, that dangerous food
is the best. You can check out her lovely blog and designs here
http://burlapluxe.blogspot.com/so I made the most
dangerous pie ever. I wanted to use my new cook book
today, Raney Day Kitchen and I made the broccoli salad.
which was wonderful. But this is by far the most interesting
I won't eat it or even taste it because of the wool cutter deal
I made with my husband, so I am safe.

The pie in the above picture is called Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie.

Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 cup unsifted flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
4 cubes ( I thought it was a typo) of butter or margarine
melted and cooled to room temp. ( I didn't wait, it worked okay.)
2 cups chocolate chips
2 cups chopped nuts or rice crispy cereal ( I used rice crispys)
2-9 in unbaked deep dish pie shells

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
2. In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy
3. Beat in flour, sugar, and brown sugar until well blended.
4 Blend in melted butter.
5. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts or rice crispy cereal.
6. Pour into pie shell.
7. Bake one hour.
8 Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
Makes two 9 in pies.
My family went crazy over it. My husband who doesn't eat
chocolate said it was very yummy.
I love new cookbooks, my cooking was getting boring, my menus
were in need of some new food, I can't wait to try some more.
I hope you have a great Wednesday!

Woohooo! Maybe I'll be there early... How's, oh, 8 o'clock? Cookie pie for breakfast is ok, right? ;)

That looks sooo yummy!! Just looking at that picture makes me smile. You mentioned back yard walking to me, that is so funny because I use to do that too! I have been planning on doing a post on it soon :)

Boy girl you have some serious will power! This dessert happens to be one of my husband's favorite, but he perfers his with a dopple of whip cream on top. I'm a plain Jane type of girl. Looks delicious!!!!!!!!
