This morning when I woke up the thought that was in
my mind was,
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber . 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep . 5 The LORD is thy keeper : the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Sometimes in this busy life I lead, I forget the promises that God has given me. Then today,
He reminds me how much He has done and How much He has kept me from. I was recounting to my husband when I was so far away from the Lord, and how I got on my knees and cried out
to the Lord for forgiveness and that He would bring me back. He did and when I heard the verse that " I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you." ( Joel 2:25)
I was going to claim it and as I look back at this life I have led and what I could have done
to tear my house down with my own hands as a foolish woman. I am so thankful that God
allowed me to build on the little I had in the beginning.
I am thankful today that "God is faithful, by whom
you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ
our Lord."
(1 Corinthians 1:9)
I was looking at all of the blooms on the trees and
all of the new green leaves and as I looked at them
it dawned on me that not only sunshine brings spring
but also the winds and the rain. We need the wind
of March to blow because as the wind blows it helps
the new flowers and leaves emerge from the bud that
traps them. Like labor or like a butterfly coming out
of a chrysalis.
Those things that seem hard and just plain ole not
fair are the things that will make us produce fruit.
I love that I serve a God of the second chances. I am glad
that sometimes all I see are the failures and never the growth.
I am thankful that God sees me how I will be instead of who
I am.
Have a lovely Sunday.

Love the wind, rain and sun - that all are needed to produce the beauty from within. :)

I am thankful that God chooses to see us through the sacrifice of Jesus.......forgiven, righteous, worthy of His love and grace. Thank you for the reminder of the greatness of our God and our desperate need for Him.
