Happy Fourth of July

We will be hanging out today. Playing games, going
swimming, and watching fireworks. Lots and lots
of fireworks. My favorite thing to do is watch them from
the swimming pool.

I have to make up another batch of ice cream. The kids
had friends over last night so I made a trial run of this.

Then I told them I needed my freezer today for more
ice cream and I told them they had to eat it all.
No one complained.

I am almost done with crafty things. Really,
I made these because I had some blocks that were
a mistake. I always like mistakes I can use.

I also finished my pillow yesterday. It looks okay

I have lots to do before I sleep so I need to go get started.
Have a lovely day with friends and family.
Blessings to you all.

And miles to go before I sleep. :-)

Me too, because I'm running to get the house cleaned, too. And it's sooo ... very ... hot.

What a mean Momma - forcing the kids to eat ice cream! Lol Wish I had been there!
Your pillow looks sweet. I am VERY impressed that you finished it. Usually I finish the hooking and leave it lying around for months until I sew it up. Good girl!

Aww, you are not forcing the kids to eat home made ice cream are you? That seems to be such an unusual punishment, poor kids....

I love home made ice cream and I think that I'm a bit jealous... I hope that your 4th of July was a memorable one. I love your bunches of pillow and knowing you, I'm sure that you made every one of them. I love your patriotic blocks too. Hugs. JB

Can't believe I totally forgot it was the 4th of JULY -- silly and unbelieveable right - well being here in Cabo this long I got lost in other things -- but anyway I myself like the star pillow -- hugs
