A walk in the Garden

This morning, was beautiful. Just enough of a breeze to
make the air like a cool drink from a very deep well. The sky
is cloud free, but the clouds are waiting off on the horizon.
As I walked I could see that the plums are starting to turn.
I know soon, my family will be walking around grazing on
all of the fruit.

My two sons came in yesterday in the afternoon and had
the telltale signs of eating berries. They had purple fingers and
blue teeth. Nothing makes me happier than seeing people eat.
I love watching them all out there talking and wandering under
the trees. It is still cool so they are walking barefoot and the dirt
makes little clouds as it comes up between their toes. Then they
come in the yard and put their feet in the pool to wash off the dirt.
I love simple things of summer.

Our silk oak is blooming. I love the way the blooms look,
almost otherworldly. I love to stand out and look at all of the blooms.
As I was thinking as I walked, I know no matter what happens,
no matter where I will end up, I have been blessed beyond
measure, given gifts I can never repay, all of it so undeserved.
As I learned so long ago, you can never out give God.
On mornings like this I am aware of the blessings.

" Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put
my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul."
(Psalm 143:8)
On mornings like this it is easy.

You are right.... we can't out give God. If we could, He wouldn't be God would He? :-) I want a plum...I can almost taste it! Great pictures!

When I saw your title, I started humming... 'I come to the garden alone'...

Kim, some of the beauty of what you share is in the deep appreciation you have for your land what grows there. I am inspired every time I visit you!

Kim, I think that you live by the motto, a grateful heart is a happy heart. I truly think that we are all blessed beyond measure wherever we live. You always seem to be very aware of the abundance of gifts God give day after day. Have a happy day. JB

"You can never out give God". I'm putting this simple phrase in my quote book. He is GENEROUS! Thanks Kim.

Blessings, Debbie

Thanks for the walk, I too was walking and eating blueberries yesterday, and enjoying the blessings of our Father.
