Friday Ramblings

I love the Friday after Thanksgiving. There is food
in the house so I know I won't have to cook. I can
decorate to my hearts content and I might even
get the men in this house to put the outside Christmas
lights up after it warms up today.

It was a nice day filled with lots of food, and family and
laughter. Here is a picture of the babies, when they
got to start eating.
It was I am sad to say the only picture Grama took.

When my children and their cousins were small,
this was the table they would eat off of when we would go to my sister-in-law
house.
She doesn't have grandchildren yet so she loaned me this
one for my grand children. We did that when we were
having babies, we shared baby clothes and the bassinet
and when I was pregnant she might have had a baby so it
all worked out so nice. Only thing was I always had
two babies to her one. Her babies were 4 years
apart while mine were two years apart.

I hope you have wonderful nice day. I am not
going shopping. :)

Are all your grandbabies boys?! How cute is that bunch!!! Me, being the youngest of 8 kids, always got seated at the kids' table at our family gatherings. It was my job to feed and monitor my nieces & nephews. I had to bring a serious suitor home in order to earn a seat at the adult table... :)

No, I have one girl but you have to look close, she is on the end and her Momma cut her hair, My daughter that is still at home had taken her upstairs earlier and painted her toe nails and found some ole clip on ear rings and put those on and she was so cute walking around watching her toe nails and looking at herself in the mirror. Surrounded by boys, she is so girly. Yeah, I don't know if I ever got to eat at the adults table even when I brought home a serious suitor. :) That is cute.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I am not organized so I had little time for visiting yesterday. I love the picture of the childrens table. Have a wonderful weekend.

I love the Friday after too, and NO I am definitely NOT shopping, haha...Hubby is out putting up our lights, and I am going to give it a start in here...Lots of leftovers to pick at through the day ~ just a perfect kind of day. Glad you enjoyed your Thanksgiving ~ ours was wonderful in spite of the fact we actually had a small fire...will post about that soon when I get the chance. Enjoy the rest of your week-end. HUGS

Your little darlings look so cute. I was an only child so lucky for me I always got to sit at the adult table. Enjoy "leftover day". Its one of my favorites - hot sandwiches and cranberry on the side.

Don't worry about not shopping. I went for all of you!I swore I wouldn't go out in the crowds today. I really shouldn't do that! Lord forbid I use the word "never". That almost always means I'll do something.I'm still not done shopping...

Those kids are adorable! I had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and hope you did too! I'd stay away from the stores for a little while--at least till the craziness calms down.

Kim, I hope you don't mind but I had to zoom in on your beautiful grand kids. They are adorable. One looks quite the grown up kid with his glass. I'm so glad that you took a photo of them together.

I would not make a great Black Friday shopper because I hate crowds. People are so crazy for bargains, but who am I to criticize, right? Have a great Saturday. JB
