Thankful Thursday

I was thinking about what I was thankful for today.
So, I thought, how about a list. I haven't wrote one
in a while.
1.Today, I am thankful that I love my job.

2. I am thankful today that God, showed me a
path, and even though, I didn't want to go down it,
I am glad I did. He promised to never leave me or forsake
me and he never has.

3. I am thankful today that when God told me I was going
to have to pass through the fire, and the floods, but that
He would be with me, I can say He always is.

4. I am thankful that when He told me that His
thoughts were not my thoughts and His ways were not
my ways, that I felt comfortable in knowing someone
in control was not me.

5. I am thankful today that when He told me, that
He was the potter, and I was the clay, that I was glad
that He still saw me as clay, that could be molded and
shaped, not as brittle and hard, and that He still
could make me into something.

6.I am thankful that it is September. I am thankful
that I am here, last year when I was watching my Mom
get sicker and sicker, and I would cry out to God, He
was always near, and His still quiet voice would ask me,
"Will you trust me?"

7. I am thankful that I have the hope, that someday,
every tear will be wiped away and that no eye has
seen or ear heard the things that are waiting for us
in heaven.

8. I am thankful that every day is new, that every day
I have a chance to get up in the morning, and every day,
I have the joy and the privileged of making this world, a
better place. That today, I can be a blessing to someone.

Welcome to September and today, I am so thankful for
You! I hope that this day, you will have a glorious day.

, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, for His wonderful works to the children of men!(Psalm. 107:6)

Beautiful list....so many speak to me and I am thankful for them also...so thankful for the fact that where I am in life isn't where I thought I would be or wanted to be, but that He is there with me and that I have LIFE!!! Simple things becoming more precious each day...like walking in the rain today.
Thanks for sharing your thank yous...I was blessed

Wow Kim! Wonderful, wonderful reasons to be thankful. Wish everyone in the world had your outlook on life. VERY positive. #8 of the thankful for actually brought a tear to my eye (probably not a good thing to be doing when you're sitting at your desk in the office, tho) LOVE(!) your blog and I just signed up as one of your followers. Please check mine out too when you get a chance. Thanks!

Kim, this is a great list! I am thankful for you and your blog!

Thank you for the encouraging words. I agree it is nicer to walk outside. It just feels so different from being on the treadmill and it is nice to breathe fresh air.

Like so many others I'm thankful to have found your blog, but know that it wasn't just a coincidence. At the very time I'm returning to church regularily, a loving witness of God's love and promises is there to remind me of how lucky and blessed we are. ♥
