Sunday Ramblings

If you haven't guessed by now, I love sunflowers.
I love them in every stage. Just beginning to open.

This I think is my favorite stage, because you cut
them at this stage and bring them in the house and
then you get to watch them open. They always make
me happy. Even if I am sad, I can stare into the face
of a sunflower and my day always seems just a bit
brighter.

I like Morning glories too, just because they have
such a short life, I have to be out early in the morning
to enjoy them. I loved this picture because it had
the morning light shining from it's heart.

I love gardening and watching the garden grow.
I love going out early in the morning when everything feels
drowsy and the day has not yet begun to warm up. The ground
still has a tiny bit of coolness to it from the night.
We will be at 100 most of next week. I am torn,
my chickens are so miserable and so hot, but the
garden grows...like a weed, those are growing too.
My husband found our first pumpkin this weekend.
I love, love, love growing pumpkins. They speak
of fall and of cooler weather and the leaves changing.
I refuse to live in the future though, and I want to enjoy
summer.
I hope your Sunday is lovely.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, for His wonderful works to the children of men!

(Psalm. 107:6)

I love your floral pictures. Did the bee stings from yesterday make you sick?
