Rughooking Helper

I just had to share this tonight. I won't even bring up how hot it was today. It was so hot to go outside so I decided it was a good day to hook. Hobo kitty thought that it was a good day to help me hook. She sat next to me and would reach over and grab my wool strips. She was so cute I just let her.

I had to get dinner and take care of the chickens but I left my rug I was hooking because I thought I would be back sooner than I was, I went to pick up my things and it was heavier than normal. I looked down and this was what I saw

So I guess I will stop for now, she looks so cute I just don't have the heart to make her move. No wonder kitty's show up to live here.

Silly kitties,

Have a nice Sunday,
~Kim~

I hate the heat and it was hot here today. We had to sit in the heat on our way to the Beach, there was an accident and it stops traffic flow.

Love the flowers! Hope you can cool off soon.~Cheers Kim

What we do for our pets. I wouldn't have moved her either. Too cute and too comfortable. The fall themed rug looks great.

And the kitty does look so cute and so comfy there in her little "nook". Try to stay cool.

So cute! I'll be she hangs out there all the time now. She found a cave. Yes, it was so horribly hot yesterday. I just put on my bathing suit and splashed water on it occasionally.

It was a lovely cool day here yesterday and also today, dipping into the low 50s at night. No rain yet though.
I hope you get some relief from the heat soon.

The kitty is so cute!

Aww, that's so cute! Ugh. This heat is wiping me out. How are your chickens?

Cats and wool just go hand in hand. I hope the heat wave has subsided for you. It is hot and humid here too, but a thunderstorm is in the near distance. Winslow Homer is not a fan. My chickens have enjoyed cold watermelon each day, a reward for making it through the hot day. I see you have been hooking a Halloween themed rug, I love it. I have been catching up with my blog reading, no internet at camp, Love, love, love your bathroom, I bet there is not a speck of dust in that beautiful home of your's! You certainly put me to shame. Thinking of you from hot, humid Maine, Hugs Julie.

I would have done the same thing as you and not disturb the kitty. So sorry about the heat, I hope that you get cooler temperatures soon.

You are such a great sport to hook in that heat. I can't see myself hooking in such a hot day. For me it's the hot humidity that I just can't deal with.

Take care.
Hugs, JB

What a sweetie! Cats are always good crafting companions. They really appreciate what we do. I've come back to my quilt frame and found kitty curld up for a nap. I always put a towel over it now :)
