Here I am back at Wednesday. Wow, was last night
wild or what? My sister lives in our parents house in Oklahoma.
My cousins live in Chickasha. They got hit but are safe.
My sister was in the path both for the house and then where
the little grocery store is that was my Dad's in Wapanuka.
There is the beauty of texting that I have come to really appreciate.
I was here in California with the Oklahoma radar up on the computer,
texting my sister who was in the storm cellar in Oklahoma.
I at least felt I was with her and she was not alone. My parents moved back
there in 1991 and it has never been this bad of a tornado season that I can remember.
So I am very thankful that my family is okay.
On to the question, thank you Patrice for doing this, I had no idea you have 500 chickens!
You are so busy. Patrice is a Everyday Rurality.
I think it has to be Friday, it is also my busiest but it is the day when I can
get finished with my Monday- through Thursday work and look forward to
the weekend and a different kind of work.
Swimming and climbing trees and riding horses. Then as I got older we
were really into 4H and showing sheep, beef steers and dairy cows. I showed horses just not as much as the other things. My Dad started raising show cattle so
we were lots busier as my siblings started on the show circuit.
Desk top.
Both I love antique stores and Good Will but I also enjoy going and looking at new things. I don't go very often though.
Every day, I like trying to identify the bird and the song. The meadow larks are the most vocal and they will be leaving soon when it gets to hot and won't be back to the fall. So I listen real close so I can try and remember their song.
Thanks to Patrice for hosting another Weight Loss Wednesday.

Hi Kim, I'm so glad that you and your family are safe. I had no idea that you were affected by tornados in your area. I missed your usual blog post and I was just about to email you to see if everything was all right with you.
I hope that mother nature calms down soon and get on with being nice again. Stay safe my friend, Hugs. JB
we had some intense weather hit DFW last night too - same storm system that hit Oklahoma i presume. baseball sized hail just a few miles north of here; glad it just skirted by us.
Praying for your family and you! Farm Girl Hugs! Florence

The weather this spring has been horrible all across the country. I'm glad your family s okay.
I love to hear birds sing. When the kiddos were young, we use to identify our feathered friends. I couldn't tell you today what they are, except the most common ones. I really should take more time to notice them and to look them up again.
Wow, sounds like you had quite an evening! I like your answers today, too. :-)
Oh gosh, I think my heart stopped for a second. I'm so glad your family is ok. Talk about scary!
I enjoy antique shops too but can rarely afford anything that I like. LOL

i love to hear birds sing, too. my favorite way to awaken!
Glad your family is ok. Hear hear for Fridays. I don't work, but I feel like it is a well-deserved day "off".
I'm so glad you and your family are okay! We have had some nasty weather in this country lately. My heart goes out to all of those affected.

I am so glad your family is okay, I just haven't gotten into texting yet, I really need to try it, but this new technology intimidates me. ~lol~
