A New Pumpkin

Yesterday, my daughter came over and brought a pumpkin she had knitted for me.
I think it is the cutest thing with leaves even. I am so proud of it. She never ceases to
amaze me. She has three babies and yet she can find time to knit a pumpkin for me.

I found out something about photography this morning. I am in the middle of my monthly migraine and when they happen no matter what I do I cannot get my pictures to turn out. I can't keep the camera still. The last time this happened I thought I was just imagining it, but this morning after trying and trying I gave up and just put it down to the pain in my head keeps me from being creative.

Another thing I have noticed is that when my husband is out of town, I have no desire to be creative. I turn into a boring ole lump. So when the best half of my body is gone, the part that is me that is left is just boring, uncreative, and very quiet. My mind doesn't even work very well.
I also have this sick feeling in my stomach because he isn't here.
He just called, and said he thinks he might get to come home this evening. That is good news.

One of my favorite verses that has always delivered me from my fears is from Isaiah 46:11
"I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will do it."

He has always done it too.
It still is Thankful Thursday.

Haha I'm so glad you like it! I was trying so hard to get it done yesterday because I wanted to give it to you so badly.

Maybe lay down and take a nap. Wish there was something that could help your headache, but if it's monthly then probably not.

Don't worry! Dad will be home soon and all will be well. I sort of know how it is. When Ben was working over time and he was gone a lot I didn't do much either. It's like the part of you that makes life fun is gone.

Yeah, I like that the part that makes life fun. That is so true. I had cut out quilt pieces and wood pieces and have never felt like sewing or painting. My headache will soon be past, but it has been a long time since I had one. I am feeling better though. We had a short day at school.
I do love the pumpkin!!

Was your migraine made worse by that terrible smell? It lingered and lingered in the washer, and I still feel terrible about it. I know it will go away in a few days, but still. Probably the best thing would be to leave it open and open the door in there, because fresh air kills the odor.

Thankfully it didn't make the laundry stink. *frets*

I do hope Dad gets home soon. It's sad to see you all mopey.

I just got a text and he is on his way home. Yay!! I don't think it is from the mothballs. I think it is just me and everything else that is going on. I did throw the rug away because that was what I thought the smell was coming from. I did laundry today and I didn't smell anything. I think it was out of the washer. I am so glad your clothes didn't have a smell. Emilie really cleaned house today so it is much nicer smelling, now.
I will be much better tomorrow I think.
