New pictures of the chicks

This is a picture of how much the chicks have grown. I don't think they will ever be very big. They are all turning into little chickens. Watching them I have learned so much, like even though the Moms are so small too, they will attack anything that goes near the babies. They would give their lives for the chicks. They always give the best when they find food to the chicks. They eat last. I sit and watch them and think about how many ways we can learn a lot about life from chickens.

Wow, I can't believe how big they're getting!

Aren't they so cute? I just love the little dark ones with golden heads! It's a good thing they have their feathers, because if this is an El Nino winter like they're calling for, then it might get real cold real fast.

They are growing so much, but they are so wild I can never get a close up. I guess I am going to have to wait until someone is here to hold one so I can get a close up. They all have covered feet and the little golden ones have a 5th toe just like a silkie.
