Tuesday Twaddle

I was reading this morning and I ran across this little gem. I thought I would share it. It is from some material I have from Anne Graham Lotz.

Age 6---- I've learned that you can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk.

Age 9----I've learned that when I wave to people in the country, they stop what they are doing and wave back.

Age 12---- I've learned that just when I get my room the way I like it, Mom makes me clean it up.

Age 25---- I've learned that wherever I go, the world's worst drivers have followed me there.

Age 30---- I've learned that if someone says something unkind about me, I must live so that no one will believe it.

Age 40----I've learned that motel mattresses are better on the side away from the phone.

Age 50---- I've learned that you can tell a lot about a man by the way he handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas lights.

Age 60---- I've learned that making a living is not the same thing and making a life.

Age 70--- I've learned that you shouldn't go though life with a catcher's mitt on both hands.
You need to throw something back.

Age 80----I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.

Age 90----I've learned that I still have a lots to learn.

I thought this was cute. They all made me think. I hope they give you a chuckle. Have a lovely Tuesday.

This was very cute. The age 6 is hilarious. I'm 2 years short of 70 and I have lots of pain and I'm sure I'm a pain to a lot of people, lol... I wonder what it will be like when I'm 80, lol...

Have a great day, Hugs,
JB

Nice wisdom. Thanks for sharing.

Many of them, I can relate to, and some of the other pearls of wisdom I shall tuck away for future reference ***smile**.

Great great words....thanks for sharing!! Yes making a living isn't making a life and that is something the Lord is really showing me these days. I had just called my hubby and asked for him to take a 1/2 day off for us to take the grands to the pumpkin patch, because it seems like all we are doing is trying to make a living, and that just isn't life!!!
Thanks!!!

I love Anne Graham Lotz. Her grandchildren go to the same school as my grandchildren and she spoke at Chapel one morning recently. She is amazing…

Loving that picture of the pumpkins; I love the white mixed in with the orange...

Sweet. That's the kind of sharing that people appreciate, isn't it? Simple and funny in just the right way.

Late for me to check in today. I'm as old as dirt, so I have experienced most of those ages! Can't really say that I have allowed my experience to give me much wisdom, though.:-) xo Nellie
