Good Fences Number One

I am linking with The Run *A*Round Ranch Report today for her Good Fences.
I don't think I ever noticed fences until she started posting pictures of them. I will have to pay better attention.
I am sharing my own fences today. Fences do make good neighbors. I will be looking for more fences to share.
Thank you for stopping by,
~Kim~

We put in a fence here when we first took possession of this house (before we even moved in) ... for our dogs. Of course, now that our dogs are gone, we don't need that fence. Some day if we ever get another dog (not very likely, I suspect), we'll be ready. ha!

Fences serve a purpose...to enclose or contain, to afford privacy, to prevent intrusion, to mark a boundary or serve as a separation...I like them for every reason. xp

I think I'll have to go take my camera for a walk and find some fences. Surely there are some around here! Although...not so pretty as yours! :)

I like the white fence...but if I had a nosy neighbor or wanted privacy, I would probably go with the tall wood panel fence. LOL!

I am really enjoying everyones fences today .
Hmm, I have to say fences may not "make" good neighbors but they do keep the not so good neighbors at bay ! lol

I remember my FIL telling me how impressed he was with these same white fences. His father had a huge farm so their fences were timber or gathered stones.

I don't mind beautiful fences such as these. But some are so ugly the make bad neighbors!
