Oh, no, Kim! What a disaster! Why is it against the law to burn tumbleweeds? My husband is good on cleaning out brush. Maybe I could send him to help you.:-) He will bring some of our rain along with him. Our area has more than 12 inches over our average for this point in the year. We came from nice, cloudy and chilly beach to driving down 7th standard in dust so thick you couldn't see half a mile ahead. It was SO BAD. It wasn't as bad once we got into town, but it was still really windy! I was really surprised. I'm blaming you, since you did all that washing! :P
Ah, the old saying "one step forward two steps backward" seems to fit your situation perfectly. What do you do with the disposal of tumbleweeds, dig a large hole and bury them? I understand it is just to dangerous to burn them with such dry conditions. Just focus on the next next two weeks, once the wedding is over put those tired feet up, and enjoy a nice cup of tea and breathe a sign of relief...
Where are you & why is it illegal to burn tumbleweeds? What do you do with them or where do you put them then? Wow. I am so sorry you have to clean that up!

I can't believe the size of the tumbleweeds. We don't have anything like that in my neighborhood. I'm not really sure what they are. Are they branches or grass? I hate that your windows got dusty again.

Sorry for the mess...know that is discouraging. Love the old bed. I have almost the same bed in one of my spare bedrooms...it was MY grandparent's first bed when they married over 100 years ago!
Oh no! How draining is that? We worked all week-end doing some similar things. We're always fighting dirt and dust aren't we? sigh. It has rained ALL day here pretty much though. Did you get any? Enjoy your week Kim!

How I wish I could send you some of my rain! It's cold, windy and rainy all week long here and no tumbleweeds.

Nooo! Not after you cleaned so much! Maybe the dirt will come off easy, since it hasn't been there long. I've been having an Eeyore day, too. No news is good news, but it's still depressing.

I know you would never believe this, but I miss tumbleweeds. When I was a kid we would make elaborate forts out of them. There are none here, just pinecones.
