Chats on The Farmhouse Porch

I haven't done a chat with Patrice in a long time. I know it is a day late but I thought I would do one for old times sake.

Now on to the questions:

1.    When it's time to cut the grass (mow the lawn), who does it?

My son Peter since he is the youngest, the job has passed on to him.

2.    If someone gave you $500 dollars and you could not spend it on yourself, who would you spend it on?

I think I would use it on my kids and grand kids.

3.    Have you ever taken a blogging break or considered one?

I have taken a couple that didn't last very long. Once I say I am taking a break, I get ideas for blogs. It has crossed my mind since doing all of the wedding preparation but I think blogging is helping me stay sane and on task. Not to mention to take rest breaks when I am tired.

 4.   Are you bothered by spring allergies or hay fever? If not spring, any other time of the year?

I take this herbal supplement called ALJ and since I started taking it two years ago I rarely have hay fever or any symptoms. The only time I notice that I am sneezing is when I have forgot to take it. I love it because the only side effect is that food tastes really well. It is May first today and every single thing I am allergic to is blooming and I can sit outside and lead a normal life again. I don't know what would have happened to me if my husband hadn't  found it.

5.    What's new with you?

Oh you know, I blab about it non stop.

Thank you to Patrice for a great week of questions.

So good that you found something to protect you from allergies. Zyrtec has saved me this year. I've never had any problems but I started having this pressure in my head. So glad to find an easy solution!

Good to have you at a chat again. My daughter used ALJ and it cleared up her asthma. I forgot about it until now and I'm going crazy with hay fever. The farm is in full swing. The days get busier and busier. Take care!

Well, now I have to go find out what ALJ is. :)
Have a great hump day and hope your weekend is fantastic too.

I too am going to check into ALJ for Colt...he deals with allergies and hayfever, especially every March and October, and always has!

Love these chats. I am going to try to remember to participate next week!

Hugs,
Tammy

I love your answers as usual. I had to laugh at the last answer #5, the only thing that is new about me is that I'm getting a day older everyday. it's always new. ha,ha,ha.
I have to mow the lawn and have been for as long as I've been married, 47 years.
I do take breaks from posting but not many from commenting. I think of everyone as a special person all different but all friends. Since I have limited computer time I mostly comments on those who comment on my blog...

I have no spring allergies thank goodness.

Have a great Thursday.
Hugs,
JB

I'll have to look up that herbal supplement. I take an allergy pill everyday. They say local honey is good for allergies too.
