I was drawing out patterns on burlap. I got a book for Christmas called Pattern Designs for
Rug Hookers. Nothing is ever easy, we were out of ink in the printers, so we had to buy that, then
since I am a dunce my husband figured out how to blow up patterns so they are big enough, then because
we only had 81/2 by 11 sheets of paper we had to use lots of tape. By the time we did all that
not having lots of patience sometimes I folded them up and put them away. Today I took the plunge.
This one is another one from the book, this pattern is by Gene Shepherd. I can't wait to start it.
I have missed rug hooking.
I have been remiss in doing a post thanking all of the wonderful people God has brought into my life.
I would not have even been able to draw these out because I would have to order more burlap. But
my friend Jacque, who just gives and gives all of the time sent me so much burlap, I won't have to buy
any for a long time. Jacque has a wonderful blog full of all of her creations. It is called Doodles of My Mind.
I wanted to share these wonderful note cards from a wonderful lady who daily inspires me. Debbie at It's All about Purple. I won a give a way and I have been so remiss in sharing what she sent. She not only took the photographs but she made the prettiest cards and each one as unique as Debbie is herself. She sent a framed photo of a sunflower which is so beautiful as well
I received a box of goodies from one of my friends in Maine. Julie at Dog Trot Farm. When I first became a chicken She sent a very cute tea towel and a journal.
A feather from one of her girls and a Christmas ornament too. She sent a little Christmas
tree and little grain scoop with a light smelling of cinnamon.
I got sick about the time I received the packages so I never posted all of the blessings I have
received through the mail.
I just wanted to thank these lovely ladies who continue to bless my life every day. They have lovely
inspiring blogs so if you have a chance stop by and visit them. You will feel right at home.
Have a lovely Thursday,
~Kim~

That's so nice. Look at all that loot! I didn't know that you got all that.
Aren't people SO giving? It's encouraging.
Your rug hooking designs are wonderful! I can't wait to see the progress. I can't figure out how to enlarge things either. I know I could do it on the big copier at school if I could ever focus!
I hope you have a happy day today, Kim.
You are such a warm and loving person.
Thanks Kim, Just popped in for a minute. Have a meeting at work. Chat with ya later

I love Fowl Mood...that pattern would bring me back to my rug hooking! I'm still trying to find the time. Something will have to change, though I'm not too sure what can right now.
Enjoy the love...I'm sure you deserve it.
