Chats on the Farmhouse Porch
I went to visit Patrice today and had a nice Christmas Present.
I got to visit inside with Patrice and see her ornaments.
If you haven't done it yet, go over and visit with Patrice.
Here are this week's questions:
1. Patrice asked today, " What is my favorite Christmas tradition?"
I think it is filling stockings. It has always been something I liked the most
finding odd things to go inside the stocking. Things a person asked for
that they might have forgotten is my favorite.
2." Patrice also wanted to know if I was ready for Christmas?"
I would say yes, I am, I need to bake some more but for the most part
I am finished. I don't know why I ever stress about it because somehow
it always gets finished.
3. Patrice also wanted to know what I would like
to talk about if I was over at her house?
I would want to see her chickens, and I would like
to walk around and look at the green houses and see
her studio, ( if it is finished.)
I would like to explore the barns and of course, visit
Wendall.
So these are the questions this week from Patrice's living room.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to visit with Patrice today,
and enjoy a real chat.

oh, nice request for patrice at the end! would love to see her studio and her barns!
I love Christmas stockings! We used to save ours to open in the evening. Christmas would be almost over and someone would say "Let's not forget the stockings." It was such fun to have more to open when it felt like it was over. Thanks for joining me today:)
I love stockings too. Men just don't yearn for them as much...and I have boys and a husband and they just don't get it! I dream of a good Christmas elf who will fill my stocking with all sorts of special things!
Hugs to you, my friend!
Courtney
your christmas tree is gorgeous!!
my boys always tell me that i am the "queen" of stocking and that going through their stocking is always their favorite part!! i do put a lot of thought in to their stockings!!
Filling the stocking was one of our tradition but now my kids are carrying on that tradition.
I always love your answers Kim.
Wasn't that fun seeing Patrice in the video. What a treat. Now it's like we have met her just like we have met you in your video. Hugs. JB
Your tree is soo pretty! I am almost done too, but not quite. I am glad I simplified things this year...worked much better for me. We do stress over nothing huh? Have a wonderful day!
I love your tree all sparkling in readiness for the big day!
I still love putting an apple and a clementine in my kids' stockings - it's the look on their faces as they delve down to find the treats that I enjoy most!
Merry Christmas!
Always enjoy visiting on your front porch, Kim. Your tree is so pretty, my plans were to do baking today, but dh and daughter want to go shopping, I am out numbered. lol
Filling stockings is also one of my favorite things to do, I think it is because i always enjoyed looking in mine as a child, ours was filled with nuts and fruits, and I always enjoyed eating while playing with my toys.~smile~
Wishing you and your family the most blessed Christmas.
Love,
Sue
I love the stockings too, although filling them was a lot easier when the kids were little!
Always a fun post...I too love stuffing stockings, but we have cut it down to just the younger ones at this point...but I still enjoy it.
Ready here also...love the comment of why do you stress when it always gets done...isn't that the truth and even if it didn't would it make any difference?
Love you tree...love visiting here...well just love you!
Merry Christmas!!!
I enjoyed Patrice's video too! You're lucky to be ready- I am NOT! HELP! LOL
I think it would be great to visit Patrice's chickens and Wendell, too! I enjoyed reading your post and love your shadow picture. Very nice.
Have a very Merry Christmas!
