20 Things I Love About Today
1. Cloudy and rainy days.
2. Christmas lights.
3. When the cat washes her face her ear gets turned wrong side out.
4. Listening to my son play the piano and sing, " Rainbow Connection,"
like Kermit.
5. Mystery packages showing up on the doorstep.
6. Watching the wind blow the leaves that are left out of the trees
and watching them drift slowly down.
7. Walking in the leaves that have fallen.
8. Having my first morning, of school being out.
9. Watching the the clouds race across the sky.
10. Knowing that in the morning there will be snow, dusting
the foothills.
11. Listening to the laughter up stairs and the sound of singing.
12. My outside fire pit and having a fire outside.
13. Getting to get caught up on your lives in Blogland.
14. Having a very fast connection now.
15. Antibiotics.
16. Dreaming in the firelight.
17. Having work to do.
18. The sound of the wind chimes as the next storm comes in from the north.
19. My chickens have feathers now.
20. Google maps that published a picture of my house that makes me laugh.
This is a funny story. My son was having his Bible Study
group meet here on Saturday. The young men just
googled directions to get here. This was the picture
they have for our address. I have laughed and laughed
about it. You can't see it in the picture but to the right
is an oil well. That is a pump house. I think. I am not telling them
any different.
I didn't win the cookie contest. The one that won was a white
snickerdoodle with pecans. Oh well I won't give up.
It wasn't animals that got to our line but that our modem
needed to be upgraded. I can now load pictures.
It is nice to be back,
~Kim~

I wasn't around much last week so I didn't know about your internet woes. I'm glad your here again.
I had to chuckle at the antibiotics! I hope this means you're feeling better.
You must be pretty crowded in your'new' digs with all those children!
Season's Blessings-Kimberly
Kim, your house looks so pretty and festive for the holidays. The brownie bites look delicious and they certainly would get my vote. Lovely little house and how convenient to have an oil well in the backyard! LOL. I am catching up with my blog commenting, google for whatever reason, would not let me leave comments. Hope you and your family are well, greetings from cold snowless Maine.
Oh come on, that's a cute little house... LOL!
I so love your list!
What a riot about "your" house photo! That is just too funny.
So glad you're back!
Oh good, I'm glad that you have internet now. Now nothing will get done because you'll be so busy reading blogs. :-) Hope you're feeling better!

Yay for faster internet - did I mention patience is a virtue I've been trying to cultivate for years now! LOL!
Blessings to you!

Hi Kim!
I love your list! I especially like the image of the cat's ear turning inside out and I smile thinking about your son singing The Rainbow Connection. So cute!

I adore your list and that Googled house! Heeehehehe!!! I bet ya'll did get a chuckle or six outta that one!!!
God bless ya girl and have a marvelous day!!!
This post made me smile today, and I needed one. What a sweet, cozy little house you have! A few Christmas lights and a wreath on the door will fix it up. LOL No wonder your family is so close - all squished in that little building. Still laughing!
Maybe it's a house for your chickens. I agree a few lights and a wreath on the door would make it look festive. I googled your place once and got an arial photo and your house was big.
I love your list and that you now have free time from schooling for a while.
I hope that you get a nice week. All the best. Hugs. JB
Too funny about the Google photo. I wouldn't tell them either. haha
I enjoyed reading your post and am jealous that you get to have snow and hills, too!
Have a wonderful day!
