Happy May

Did you know that May is almost as busy as December? Birthdays, graduations and lots of parties.
Its a nice month and hopefully it won't go speeding by like the other months have done this year.

I have a to do list that keeps growing like Kudzu. We took out three trees. I sort of helped.
Dead Tree.

Cute husband.

Cute husband cutting down dead tree.

Dead tree that almost took out the photographer.

Dead tree getting sawed into stumps for my garden benches.
The front yard smelled like a pine forest. I was so glad our sons were home to help. I was taking pictures and one of the trees wanted to get up close and personal. I never even got to yell timber. I always want to yell timber when trees fall and I never remember when the tree is actually falling.

Tomorrow is that dreaded day. My birthday. I have thought for two solid days of something I could do to make it special. I finally decided, that every day feels like my birthday. I like what I do every single day. So it is very hard to come up with something to do that I like better.

I hope you have a lovely May 1st today. It is perfectly warm and beautiful.

Happy Birthday! Yes, the days, months seem to be flying by. Last year we had 5 trees taken down and was so amazed and busy taking photos I forgot to say timber also.

My goodness, that's too bad that you had all those trees die. Glad you were able to get them out and that the boys were able to help.

Did you get some new trees planted yet?
Love your new header! Are those flowers from this year?
