Just Sunflowers

This morning when I was out in the garden, so many of my sunflowers were open. I just had to share. It seemed like too every shot I got some sort of little bee. I would say that summer is here.

Today is going to be a warm day. My husband had already gone swimming by 10:00 A.M. The weather smells very nice and toasty. The man who lives behind us, has a fire going for a deep pit BBQ so it smells like camping.

I really like the color of this dark one. I love how pretty it looks with the light tips.

I am sure by the end of today I will have lots more to take pictures of and to stare at as I sit out in the garden.

We had a volunteer pumpkin come up out in the garden today it we noticed it had a pumpkin. I just had to share it.

I have to figure out how to get it some water. It is beyond the water so I will have to carry buckets of water to it I think. I love surprises.

Have a lovely Weekend.

Your sunflowers are always a treat! I have seeds...but really nowhere to put them where they'll look nice. I did buy more nasturtium seeds today...I love those too, plus, you can eat them. School's finally out...I may actually get a post in soon...I know...long overdue!
Hugs to you!!

So many orchard bees! No wonder you have so much fruit this year. I'm glad your sunflowers have started up. All the sunflower artists will be flocking to you. :-)

Hi Sunflower Queen! Wow! I love the way the sun is gracing your sunflowers. I love the way camping smells, too. Delicious!
Bill is here swinging with the girls in the backyard, so I can take a quick break before dinner. Granny is VERY tired. I have to get up early and get my bearings before the girls come downstairs for breakfast. I'm getting in the groove, though. Thank you, Lord!
I hope you aren't too hot, Kim. Put your feet up!

They are so pretty! Mine are coming up like crazy! There's one that's taller than I- and I'm 5'10"! But no blossoms yet. Just stems and leaves. Our weather has been fabulous! I don't what happened, but I'm not going to question it, I'm just enjoying it!

The sunflower is our Kansas flower.
Did you know that? I love yours. They
are so beautiful. I use to plant by our
back fence when I was much younger.

These are great! We only had one of ours get large..what are yours called? We have a few of little ones growing and the large one bent over its head, so we took it off to dry..I think that is what you do. These are lovely!!
