Now I Am Back

Doesn't that look like a giant footprint? When we drive by here, I always think of some giant walking over these wonderful hills. Finally, Ron who I am so thankful for, figured out how to get my pictures from I Cloud. I would sit at the computer, for a solid year, and no matter how much voo-doo I tried couldn't get my photos from my phone to my photo editor. I bought a new phone, I think in October and it was for me just too much technology. Plus there are new/old changes to blogger and by the time I fought with everything I just gave up. One of my goals was I was going to start blogging this year. It may be the 25th of January but its still January.

We have used our travel trailer a lot. We took Polly with us every trip. She is a very good traveler.

I have never traveled with a dog before so that was a new experience but such a nice one. I am so happy I have her because I have to walk. It got really easy to not walk like I did when I had chickens and big gardens to take care of.

On our way to visit Ben and Megan we had left really early to get to North Carolina and this was going over the long bridge over the Arkansas river. Little did we know that in two weeks, North Carolina would be hit with Hurricane Helene. We saw so many beautiful places, and now they are gone. It still makes me sad, and I do hope this new administration will not forget those people in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and North Carolina, like the past one did. Wasn't last week a nice week?

 Polly

She knows she isn't supposed to get up on the couch, but I was doing something and she wasn't happy about it. Like right now I am blogging and she is ready to go outside.

I don't think I ever showed this rug that I put on the wall behind my fireplace. I love this rug so much.

Thank you Saundra, for drawing it out for me. Dyeing that wool for this was hard as I saw colors in my mind that I didn't have recipes for. That rug was such a labor of love.

I will stop for now, I am just so excited I can write again. I can't wait to go back to Tucson.

I have another grandbaby to visit in April. I can't wait. When this next baby comes, We will be grandparents of 15. I am so blessed and so thankful for all of the precious gifts that we have had the joy of being grandparents and that is just the oldest three. The girls are winning. We don't know what the next baby will be, so it will be interesting. Seven girls and five boys.

I wish you all of the best, I will track down the rugs I did last year.

I guess because I couldn't upload pictures, I just didn't take pictures of them. I would

finish them and just put them in the closet.

Have a delightful day, we have our first rainstorm coming. Yay!!

YEAH!!! So happy you are able to upload pictures and blog again.
Hopefully the rainstorm will also be in LA and help the fires there. My heart breaks for all those devastated by the hurricane and fires. I think our new administration is off to a good start and the people will finally get some much needed help!!!
I have that same whale pattern to hopefully hook on of these years!!! Yours is wonderful.
Congrats on grandbaby #15 arriving soon. What a blessing they
are.
Polly...be still my heart. She is adorable.

I love my whale rug too and hangs in this room where I see it often. Took me a couple years to get around to hooking it because there are so many on my list. You did a perfect job making it look old.
Polly is a beautiful dog.
And yes, tho the weather here was frigid, it was a most perfect week. A big difference between administrations and this one will do what he can to help those who lost everything.
Ya think that was a BigFoot foot print, lol?

I'm so glad you're back! Looks like blogger optimized for cellphones because your blog is very skinny on PC now. I'm so happy to see some of your trip pictures! I hope you post some more, and take more pictures. :-)

Welcome back. You were missed. I love the rug! Especially the colors. Polly is beautiful. I just told my husband today how much I miss Ella, because now it is harder for me to talk myself into going for a walk on a cold winter day. Thanks for sharing.

I am SO, SO happy that your dear husband was able to help you with the very trying computer stuff! I like your whale a lot. It will be good to hear again about your travels and grandchildren and whatever is going on. <3

So exciting….you’re back & pictures too!! Sweet Polly, she has grown & yes dogs are good to get us walking! I have hooked the whale rug, it was a fun rug to hook, but sadly a few of my boaters must have fell out of the boat as I didn’t hook them all! Lol! Yes, the hurricane was devastating for so many areas, my son & daughter-in-law lost their vacation house in Tennessee from the flooding. It was completely washed off the foundation & they had to demolish it. Hopefully things are now looking better for those that were affected!

YIPPPPEEEE! She's really back! Give hubby a hug of thanks from me (and I'm sure many other followers out there). You certainly haven't lost your touch - your photos are breathtaking! Such views! And so perfectly captured. I absolutely adore your rug....perfect color choices! I've wanted to hook that for a long time now but have made myself swear off whales until I get "The Beast" that I finished hooking years ago bound. Polly looks like a sweet girl. I didn't realize she would get that big! Congrats on the new grand-to-be! You certainly are blessed. ~Robin~
