Happy Monday! |
Rain in the Night,
Raining, raining
All night long,
Sometimes loud, sometimes soft,
Just like a song.
And lakes along the street.
It will make our lazy kitty
Wash his little dirty feet.
Like kings and queens at court;
But the pansies all get muddy
Because they are so short.
In wonderful new places,
But first I'll take my watering-pot
And wash the pansies' faces.

Therefore the children of men put their trust
under the shadow of Your wings."

ReplyDeleteAw! Pansies don't like to get their faces wet, do they? I love pansies and I hope I can have a big full bed of them this summer. I did one year! Birdie wants an umbrella. We hardly get any rain, but doesn't everyone like umbrellas? Ha ha ha!
