The Beauty All Around Us---Macro Photographs

I know I brag shamefully about my husband. He continues to amaze me, so I can't help it. This morning he loved the light so he went out and took some amazing photographs. I loved looking at them over and over so I thought in this first series I will just share his photos of dandelions.

The beauty of each seed and fiber.
The tiny center of each seed pod.
Each tiny seed is a thing of beauty tied with a umbrella of gossamer thread.

I love how they are cupped to receive light and dew with the catching the light.

Just tiny bits of beauty in the early morning light.
Even milkweed has beauty when she is dressed in morning finery.
I hope you enjoy photographs. They were taken with an I phone and a macro lens. I love how these reveal the beauty is all around us if we take the time to look I want to thank Ron for letting him share his photos today with you.

  1. I love Ron's early morning photos of the lowly dandelion as much as I hate to have them popping up all over my lawn but in reality, they are so awesome and resilient.

When you look closely at the way they are created, it's like soulful journey in God's perfect creation. This is something that I could reflect on, the perfection of God's creation. It just is so inspiring.

Bragging your husband is so endearing.

    Have a great day.
    Hugs,
    JB

  3. Hi Kim, these are so beautiful, Your husband is a fine photographer, one of my goal this year is to become better at taking photos.
Hope all is well with you, it has been awhile since I have blogged, my plans were to begin anew on Jan.1, but both Dh and I came down with a flu virus that lasted quite awhile, we are just now beginning to feel like our selves again.
So nice to visit with you.
    Blessings,
    Sue
