Now Friday!

Are you glad it is Friday? I think I would if it didn't look like Mordor out my front window. We had thunder showers and now we have fires in our mountains. Mixed with the smoke from the other fires burning in the west. One of the things I find really interesting, is when the fire in the mountains started, someone was flying a drone. The firefighters had to wait for the drone. Now, our local government is thinking of bringing charges against the drone flyer because now homes, and people and animals are endangered because of it. Do you have any thoughts on drones?

I would love to have one just so I could send it into the mountains to see if Bigfoots really exist. Or as I watched one day a couple weeks ago of giant sharks swimming at the beach. You know, wildlife that doesn't know they are being watched.  But that is just me. I don't think Ron would go for it. He is the sane one of this family. :)

I worked on my dog a bit this week. I had to order more wool for the background. So I will be moving onto some other projects. I worked all day yesterday so I could have a putter around day today. I love hooking but sometimes I just need a sewing machine day. What about you?

Do you want to see the progress of my dog rug. I haven't come up with a catchy name yet.

Dogs are fun to hook, but I have a chicken rug I think I might start today. It has been awhile since I did a chicken rug.

The sun is up now, so I need to get busy. I have so many things demanding my attention dancing around in my head. I hope your Friday is a very nice creative day.

Don't get me started on drones. I like them but they have their place and should only be sold to people who have been to a 'drone flying' class. like people who drive boats have to take. Enough about that.

I don't even like the idea of drones, too many things they could be used for both unlawfully and Big Brotherly.

The quote is great.

I love your dog long rug!

Have a relaxing day.

Hmmm my thoughts on Drones...well I think it depends on how they are used and if or when they interfer with other things.
Love your dog piece, I still have a Latch Hook rug that I started 22 years ago left unfinished. Beautiful morning glory and Sunflower photos.

Hi Kim, Love seeing all that you've been up to. When we were in northern Ca. for a week at the end of July, there were so many fires-we were anxious to get out of there. Love your rug, so cute.
Blessings to you.

Drones are not for me, too many potential problems, including the one that ran into a baseball stadium last week.

I love your dog rug. Reminds me a a strech limo, all that length in the middle, so cute.

I also like E.Elliot's quote. She will be missed, but her words and life will continue to bless all of us.
Have a good Sunday Kim.

I'm not sure about drones, I have seen some pretty amazing footage filmed with a drone! And what if they can effectively deliver packages. I will wait to decide!! You have the prettiest morning glories I have ever seen!!

Your dog rug is so fun !
Reminds me of the book I read to my granddaughter about the silly dog- chilly dog !
I think we need to have some new laws regarding all this drone activity !

Your dog is just too cute. You did a great job on it. You are good...

Drones might have their use where searching in rough terrain for lost people but I'm sure it's not so good when used for spying on people's privacy.

I hope the California fires will be put out shortly. I can only imagine the disasters this has caused in people's lives.
