Getting Caught Up

It is full blown spring here. The Irises are beginning to open. I am sorry that I have been so hit and miss on visiting your blogs. I have come down with that flu thing and I hate admit it but I am sick. I am thankful that it held off until the kids all left to go back home. All the birthday parties were nice. Now I can show you the Hobbs I made.

The tiger from Calvin and Hobbs
It has been awhile since I made a stuffed animal. I need to do it more as I have always enjoyed making them.
They don't sell Hobbs in stores because Bill Waterson never did licensing so I found a pattern on Etsy and it was instant download so I was in business. I love that instant download button. All the strips had to be handsewn on.

I hope you have a lovely week. I hope to be back to my normal self soon. It is too pretty outside to be cooped up in the house.
Have a lovely Tuesday,
~Kim~

Kim, you did an amazing job on Hobbs!! I know it took a long time, but the finished product was so worth it!!
Sorry you are still sick. I hope you can get feeling better soon. You better start chugging your juice mix :)

It's so pretty there, and so nice to see spring! Seeing your pictures is like seeing "coming attractions" for my neck of the woods....**smile**.

I'm happy to see your Dutch iris - my purple ones died out a couple of years ago and this spring I only got 3 or 4 of the other color :-( Looks like I'll need to do a refurbishing of the perennial bed next fall.

Oh man, I'm glad the sickness held off! I got sick the instant we got home, too. It's been a banner couple of days. :-p

Oh Kim, I'm so sorry that you got that flu bug. I can only imagine how bad you must be feeling ... my sinus infection really kicked my behind, and it was "just" a sinus infection! I hope you get to feeling better *soon*!!

Sorry you're sick when it's so nice outside. I hope you'll feel all better to enjoy the beauty outdoors. We've had two storm back to back so Spring seems to get farther away from us.
I've been under the weather for a couple of days from a bad reaction to medication.

Take care,
Hugs,
JB
