Off To The Races!

I over slept this morning. My first thought was not on a Monday. I hit the ground running. When it is that way on Monday, it stays that way. I wonder why? I hope you had a nice weekend. We had another hot weekend. Even though it is very nice in the morning. I was thinking it will be hot until Halloween.
I have seriously been considering a move... to Antarctica. Maybe just a short vacation.

I have sat and stared at my washboard. I finally put the little stitchery in it like I imagined. I am always amazed when it turns out cute. I think I will be making things to go in my washboard each month or so at least each season.

Ta

Da!!

I don't have many good ideas so I am always surprised when one comes upon me.

Today is my oldest daughter, Kessie's 33 birthday. How on earth that she has arrived at this age, with me not being over 35 myself, remains a mystery. :) She still is one of the most gifted, talented and smart and the best Mom and cook I have ever known. Give her a hug for me Alex. ( My oldest grandson now reads my blog, I am so blessed.)

I hope you have a wonderful Monday. I do like October. Such a nice month.

~Kim~

I love your stitchery in the washboard, too! Adorable!
Happy birthday to your Kessie! What a girl she is!
I don't blame you for wanting a frozen vacay! Speaking of . . . maybe you should watch FROZEN today. " . . . the cold doesn't bother me anyway!" We hear the songs over and over and even Lizzy knows them now!
Happy Monday! Put your feet up and have a cuppa! Don't rush! xoxoxo

Hello,
Sending Happy birthday wishes to your daughter! I know that she is a blessing and a joy to you.

Love the way that you've displayed your stitching piece! So adorable. I'm sure that you will be copied many times ....**smile**.

Sorry about the heat continuing. It is October now, and sooner or later, it certainly should cool off a bit, right?

I hope that today is a blessed day for you :)

Happy Birthday to Kessie! I always wonder how our girls reach the age they are when I haven't aged that much myself through the years.:-) xo Nellie

I have an old washboard like that but I would have never thought of putting a stitchery inside. You're so smart. It's so cute and the stitchery is beautiful and just in time for Fall.

I think that you overslept because you needed it. It's OK by me.

Hugs,
JB
Happy Birthday to your amazing daughter Kessie.

Your photos and your idea are wonderful.

You needed the rest or you would not have slept so well.

Enjoy your week.

the dog next door was barking nonstop from 5-6 so I could not sleep in late, OR get going very fast all day. (sigh) I hope your tomorrow is more calmly paced!

I love that line about how can your daughter be 33 when you're a mere 35 ... I feel the same way as my daughter keeps inching toward that milestone age of 40! Yikes!

I love that little stitchery in your washboard ... cute!

Hi Kim, the flowers are all beautiful and I love the washboard. You are quite clever! Happy B-Day to your daughter and isn't that the truth about how they are getting older and we stay the same. Mine is 50ish and I'm only 21. Go figure..Happy Tuesday..Judy
