Work in Progress

Happy Thursday to you all!! I hope you have all had a good week. It has been busy here this week. It looks to be just as busy this weekend.

I wanted to show you a few of my works in progress. I have when I have had the time hooked a little bit on a chicken rug. I do enjoy chicken rugs. I really need to get a sketch book and start drawing out patterns in my head.

I was thinking of taking the design of that big chicken and making some chicken pillows. I think that might be fun.

I also had a bit of time for some counted cross stitch. I don't know when I will get back to it though.

The second surgery is coming up so I will have to take a break from stitching for awhile.

As I was checking the garden today I have sunflowers up and some beets I think. Beets and goatheads look a lot alike.

I also finally opened my etsy store. I can't figure out how to get the link in my sidebar yet so here is the link.
Old Farm House Rugs

I hope you have a great weekend.

It will be a busy one here.

I love your chicken rug. Your mom's saying about wishing is nice! My dad had a different version of that, 'wish in one hand and poop in the other and see which one gets full first.' LOL I am smiling remembering my dad! Thank you!!
Praying all goes well with your surgery. I am excited for you.

Congratulations on opening your etsy shop Kim, I did visited your site but I'm no longer on Facebook so I can't sign in. I didn't know that you needed to be on Facebook to access etsy.

Now that you have a shop, you can hook to your heart's content and sell them. $$$

It won't be long till you get your sight back and I'm looking forward for some more gratitude posts. Your chickens are adorable and the cross stitch is just so beautiful. I love the simplicity of the design.

We are still on flood watch and the water is over both lanes again. sigh...

Hugs,
JB

And for Julia above. No you don't have to sign in to facebook to access etsy. Anyone can go on etsy. If you want to link to facebook, twitter or pinterest, that is up to you. Just type in http://www.etsy.com and then type in Kim's store you will find her store.

It is splendid that you have opened an etsy store! I hope it grows and grows - if you sell the rugs at least you will still have the photos of the originals :-)

Hi Kim, congratulations on your Etsy Shop, I will check it out, you do such beautiful work, I Just know you are going to do so well! I have felt that you needed to open the shop for a long while. I am sorry I haven't been around lately, just haven't had time for blogging! It seems the more I do the more I need to do, and now I have a case of poison ivy on my hands, result of taking my gloves off to work in the soil, I bet you can relate! I am hoping to get it under control as I don't want to go to the DR.
Our weather has finally changed!
I will be planting my beets real soon!
Well I guess that's all for today, sorry for the long comment, enjoy your weekend!
Hugs,
Sue
