Wednesday Words

Today, I remember these things:

" If God is almighty, there can be no evil so great as to be beyond his power to transform. That transforming power brings brings light out of darkness, joy out of sorrow, gain out of loss, life out of death."
(Elisabeth Elliot)

" Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God."
( Corrie Ten Boom)

I walk forward
     one step at a time,
             fully trusting
                the light God sheds
                          is absolutely sufficient.

I believe in the sun, when it does not shine,
I believe in love, when I am alone,
I believe in God even when He is silent.
(These words were found scrawled on a cellar wall where
Jews had hidden in World War II in Cologne, Germany)

Wow, what a powerful message in your blog today. It a perfect way to remember 9/11 that even when God seems to be nowhere to be seen, he's very present in our midst... I love everything about your post, the beautiful flowers, the wisdom from the quotes.

Hugs on this somber day of remembrance of the victims of 9/11.
