Chats on the Farm House Porch

I am so glad that Patrice does these chats. It is so nice to have someone else do the thinking for me. :)
She has some awesome drinks to have on her porch this week. So if you get a chance stop by and give her a visit. You will have fun.

Questions:

  1.  What's your favorite day of the week? Why?

I think it has to be Thursday too. My work is pretty much finished and I feel like on Thursdays I can rest and sew without guilt.

 2.   Do you have a blog? Please tell us the name of it and how long you've had it.

Yes, I have a blog, and it is called My Field of Dreams. I have been blogging 4 years in July.

3.    What's the last book you read? If you're not a reader, please tell us about the last movie you saw.

Okay, I am deep in Harry Potter. I just started the 6th book today. I wanted something light and I haven't read it in awhile, well not all of them so I thought it would be a nice thing to do.

 4.   Do you ever doodle with a pen or pencil while something else is going on?

Yes, always I pay better attention if I have a pen and paper in my hand. I am a note taker because it just helps me to remember.

5.    Tell me about your bathroom towels. What color are they? Do they all match?

My bathroom towels are white. Just plain ole white. My kids have different shades of green. I have had white towels now for years. I just think they look like vacation to me so that is why I always use white.

Thank you so much Patrice for doing this, I needed to write a post but I worked out in the garden so long today, my brain was in the deep freeze.

Have a great week!

White towels = vacation. Love that. Do you fold them in the shape of swans too? :)

I enjoyed the questions and answers!

Thought about you a few days ago...there was an article on the front page of our paper about the GBI being on the lookout for "pot" plants. There was a picture of a helicopter with an agent hanging out the side door looking down at a sea of vegetation below! So, it's nor just happening in CA!

Clean white towels = vacation. My bath towels are also white, but they aren't white any more (even with regular washing and bleaching). I've had them for about 5-6 years ... maybe that's normal for white towels. But if that's the case, I don't think the next set of towels will be white. :-(

Good morning Kim, this was great, I started replacing my colored towels with white a few year ago, and really like them! And like you, by Thursday I begin to wind down. As always enjoyed the chat on your front porch.
We are enjoying 80's today, but the weatherman said it was going to be 104 by Sunday, with lots of humidity, I think I am gong to be staying inside, and hopefully bogging. ~smile~
Hugs,
Sue

I didn't realize that my white towels meant I was on vacation. Oh, that's what this is! :):)

Hi Kim, I love white towels in the bathroom, just looks so fresh and clean. (However, not hubby friendly.) I am a doodler and note taker. The book on my nightstand is titled Old Maine Women, I'm not quite there yet, but preparing LOL. We have had a week of rain and I am so ready for sunshine, hopefully by the weekend! I have weeds almost as tall as the sunflowers! Sending greetings from Maine, Julie
