1000 Posts

Well today I finally hit 1000 posts. My husband said last night, " Now you can stop blogging now that you hit 1000 posts."  I sat there and thought for awhile and I wondered if I could stop blogging. I wondered how would I go back to the way I was before. I wondered what I would do when I wake up in the middle of the night and write blog posts in my head.

Now 78,253 page views later, I really don't know how I would go back. I think of how much my life has been changed by your comments, your emails, by your gifts. You have laughed with me and cried with me. You have prayed for me and you have walked with me in valleys and on mountaintops. You have laughed at my video and you have shared your lives with me. You have stood by and watched as I have learned to be who I am and share what I love. Most of all you have loved me and given me your friendship which I cherish.

I feel like what I have been given has been a gift from heaven that I never knew would end up changing and blessing my life. Not to mention to learn to use a camera. I am so thankful for the friends I have made all over the world and in every state in the United States as well as my lovely friends in Canada.

One of the things blogging has done, has been to teach me to live my dreams. To try new things and to not look back but to keep going forward. I have never worked harder so I can have something to blog about. Really if I didn't blog, I don't think I would ever weed my garden. Knowing I have people to share with, has helped me to strive for a weed free life. :)

I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for taking time out of your busy lives to come and read about mine. Thank you for sharing your life with me.

I am grateful for all that you do daily in my life.

~Kim~

Well congratulations on 1000 post and all those viewing...wow! I came here today because you had been in my thoughts all day. I kept thinking about how much you write. I even went to the bookstore and saw a writing magazine on "how to" and I thought you...and how you write so many post and share your life.

I too would miss what blogging has brought into my life...my list is the same as yours...I wouldn't be pushing myself as much.

You know blogging adds a positive pressure to go forward and do more and love more.

Thanks for letting me enter your world and share part of your life...I have been so blessed and enriched.

So please...I wouldn't be who I am today..I wouldn't be inspired to try things and move forward as much as I am because of your blogging.

Love you girl and hugs

I just had to laugh at the "not weeding my garden if I didn't blog" comment...it's good incentive, isn't it! :)

You have blessed me so much with your post and honestly have helped me look at things in a different light at times.
Your words were so well written and expressed beautifully what blogging means to many of us.
Now I'm looking forward to your next 1000 post!! Don't you dare quit.

The only way you're allowed to stop blogging is if we hang out way more than we already do!

I second Meg's opinion! I'm glad you broke 1000. But hey, your sunflowers just started blooming, so now you can make lots of posts about them. :-)

To this I say "ditto", you have been such a wonderful blessing to me, from the first day that I stopped by, and couldn't stop reading your previous posts, and found someone whom I connected with, and wanted to get to know! Thank you for sharing your life, and for your friendship.
Love,
Sue

If you stop blogging, I'll cry! Visiting your blog is like dropping by for a cup of coffee in the morning, but it's decaffeinated:)
