Chats on The Farm House Porch

It is time to visit with Patrice again on her porch. You won't need a sweater on my porch today. It is already warm. She has some very nice pictures today. I really like the gift her friend brought her back from Holland.

She did her answers with pictures, I thought that was a nice idea.

1.What do your everyday dishes look like?

2.What shoes are you likely to throw on in a pinch right now? "Go to" shoes.
I wear theses shoes the most. I just came in from working in the garden.

3.What's the last gift you were given?

4. The first face you saw this morning was-------------------.

Even though it was dark. This is the dearest face I know:

The others in this picture are pretty nice but I was talking about my hubby. :)

5.What cup or mug are you most likely to grab for your tea or coffee? What's your "cuppa"cup?

My favorite cup. I use if for coffee, but if I am having hot tea it is a different one. I drink more coffee.

Thanks Patrice for this weeks questions. Thank you for your lovely offer to load up your truck with pullets and bring them out to me. I am over it really. I think it is best for now. :) I can keep my bathroom in the garage a bathroom/craft room instead of a chick house.

Have a great week!
~Kim~

I love all your answers and appreciate the pictures. I'm glad that you are over the disappointment of not getting your chicks.

I read that book. I cried my eyes out during the first chapter. It was a good book. I like your dishes. I am so into blue and white! That's a nice face to see. He has such a pleasant face and a warm smile. Much better than waking up to my German Shepherd. My early bird hubby had gotten up WAY before me.Being decadent and sleeping in for me is 7am. Have a great week!

I love that book. I read it earlier in the spring. I need to re-read it. Then, I read another book about gratitude and was working a daily program before life took me on a twist. I've gotta get back to it! I have favorite mugs for coffee and tea too!
Hugs,
Courtney

This is a fun chat. Like the pictures with the answers. I was too lazy tonight to take the pictures so I'll skip this weeks chat.

Kim, I so enjoyed my visit. Lovely photo of your dear husband and family. I chuckled at your "garden" shoes, mine are old beat up knock off crocs, I just cannot bear to throw them away. I am so sorry about the Silkies, is there another breed you could try? How about Buttercups or Frizzles? Those are two breeds I would like to try, however, I do believe it is to cold for them during Maine winters. Just a thought. Sending greetings from cold wet Maine, Julie.

I love blue and white ... in fact, my dishes are blue and white, too. Hubby is grumbling about getting rid of them (they're starting to show their age), but I refuse to! ;-)

Your plates are so pretty. I'm not surprised you have plates with a heart on them! I've got to start wearing closed shoes in the garden. I felt something on my foot yesterday and nearly had a stroke. It was a leaf. Good grief. Oh-I want that mug! :)
