Good Friday

Today  Meg, sent me a conversation that she had with her son, Jack, my grandson.
It made my day, I asked if I could post it here. One of the things I have loved is listening to all of the ways, they all learn things and how by the way they speak it touches me.

Conversations With Jack:
Jack: Hey Mom can we go to grammas?

Me: No baby, we’ll go to grammas on Sunday.

Jack: Oh. Why?

Sunday is Easter.

Oh. What’s Easter?

Easter is the day Jesus came back to life.

Oh. Yay!

Haha, yes Yay!

Can we eat lunch at grammas?

We’ll eat dinner at grammas.

Oh. Will God be at grammas house?

*Smiles* Yes, He’ll be there. But you won’t be able to see Him.

Oh, ok.

Love,
Meg

Isn't it a lovely way to think about life?
I was blessed and I thought you might be too.
Have a lovely day,
Kim

One of life's greatest blessings to me is when kids ask questions about God, pray, or repeat scripture to me. I wish we all stayed as innocent as children do.

Kim, you are blessed. What wonderful children you have raised, and they, their children. Easter blessings to all, I will be thinking of you as we gather to worship on this most holy day. Your friend from Maine, Julie.

Oh that is just so sweet! There is no greater joy than to hear that our children (and grandchildren) are walking in the truth (3 John 1:4). Wishing you all a very blessed Easter!
