A Fun Night

We had to go to a wedding last night. Some of you follow my DIL Meg at her blog Little Bit of Life.
Her little sister was getting married, Meg and my daughter, Emilie were in the wedding party so we hung out together.
I thought I would share the pictures today.

Emilie was getting ready to leave to go to the place for pictures. The wedding was in a old building downtown, where the Junior League meets now.
Me and my hubby, you can't even tell we were in the garden most of the day and he even put a screen door on our front door before this was taken.
Me and one of my grandsons. I brought my chicken purse because it carries in it all sort of things to keep little kids occupied. They love my purse.

Silly boys, our Son William  and of course, Nik.

Isn't she cute? This is Meg, can you believe she just had a baby?
Nik and Em's she is so silly.

I told the bride I was going to post this, she was just having fun.

I loved the look on my daughter's face.

Do you think by this picture I might be having a wedding in our future? I hope she doesn't read this post. :)
Meg called him " soon to be Uncle Nik to the boys" :)

This is our table with all of the root beer and coke bottles. My two youngest sons are in this picture and the kids friends.

This is our oldest son with three of his little boys. He is Meg's husband. The baby is with Mom.

Thanks for stopping by today. It is just a bit of our day. Sometimes we do leave the Field of Dreams and go out in public. :)

Have a lovely Sunday,
~Kim~

Kim, I just love this post. Getting to see everybody together and having fun. And the infamous Nik - he looks like a keeper. (don't tell Em, we don't want to ruin it)
You and Ron look great. I did laugh because you took your chicken purse to the wedding. So glad you all had a great time.

What a delightful post. Everyone is having lots of fun and the kiss picture is a riot. Everyone is hamming it up except the bride and the groom who are kissing.

I'm so glad that you're sharing those pictures with us and that you had your chicken purse, I hope that there was no chicken in it. lol.
Hugs.

Oh gosh. Now I wish I hadn't looked so silly since that picture is going all over the internet.

Yep, I'm thinking we'll be having another wedding pretty soon. ;) Looking at them together last night was so sweet.

Yay! I'm so glad you got your screen door on the front. That will be so nice on those breezy days.

What great pictures! I think that last pic with B. makes him look like a stop-loss guy. "Hey kids, you ain't goin' in there. You're underage."

The pictures make it look very colorful. Looks like you guys had fun. :-)

Thanks for sharing. Now post a serious picture of the bride for us- oops-please. Your kids look awesome. That first picture of Emilie is adorable. She's such a pretty girl. I like the picture of you and hubby. I think I like everything about your family. Such a wonderful family. No wonder you seem so happy. What type of place was the wedding held? Was that their house??? Just being nosey. :)

Can't tell you how much I enjoyed seeing some pictures of your family! Your daughter is soo pretty, and the one of you and your hubby is just darling, in fact ALL of your family is so nice looking. The one of the 3 little boys reminded me so much of getting my 3 boys dressed to go somewhere when they were young. Yep, the look on their faces makes me think a wedding could be in the future too. How my grands would love me carring a chicken purse, haha. Congrats to the wedding couple! Enjoy your day! HUGS

How fun! It's great to see pictures of you and your family...helps me to know "who you are" a bit more :) Your daughter is beautiful! As for the purse...I remember as a girl a lady at Church had a purse full of candy. It wasn't a chicken purse (she was a rather conservative Mennonite :) but it was still fun to see what she had in it each Sunday!
