Odds and Ends of Saturday

I was out in the pasture, trying to find things to take pictures of, when I called Sasha to come to me, one of the things I love to watch is watching her run. My camera doesn't have a fast enough shutter speed but I was able to get these two shots of her running to me. Can you see the tiny speck in the distance. She was running as fast as my finger could click and I only got two shots before she reached me.
I am so glad that I live here and she can run and dig and just be a dog. Did you read last week about the man near San Francisco who was tazerd for walking his dogs without a leash?
Well, it happened in California it still makes me mad. So when I walk my dog here I am glad I don't have to worry about some park ranger tazering me because she is off the leash.
I thought about doing a day a week of stupid things that go on in California, but then I thought you might not want to ever come here and most of the time it is a okay place to live.
This is all I have today, I hope you have a great weekend.

Did I mention that I really LOVE the photo in your header - it's a wonderful picture!
As are the 2 you managed to snap of Sasha - what a whirlwind of exuberance she must be! Love her!
Happy weekend to you!

I love your header photo also! It's stunning. My corgi used to run really fast. I had a big yard when he was a pup and I loved seeing him zoom around!
Have a super weekend!

Courtney

Sasha sure has energy. I think a "stupid thing of the week" would be a hoot.

Great photo of your happy go lucky dog. I like reading about other peoples stupidity. I'm just relieved that its not me.

Kim, Sasha is a lucky dog and you are lucky to have her.
I love you big tree, the kids must just love to climb in it.
There is a lot of stupidity everywhere, so go for it. Hugs. JB

I just love to see, my animal friends in motion especially when they come running toward me! Sasha is so cute. We have situations like this here on the East Coast too, Kim!
Enjoy your weekend,
Love,
Sue

Well I could add stupid things in Texas also. We had our neighbor age 70, who walks her dog with a leash in the neighborhood and then takes it off for the dog to run in the open field, well, she got stopped by the police who jumped all over her and told her the next time he would ticket her!! This is the same lady who had almost ripped her leg off from a fall and was out walking as her rehab. I was just furious!!! Her dog was totally harmless and obedient and no one, no one was anywhere around!!

How off balance we are getting...and always off balance on the wrong side as a society.

Your dog is like what my grandfather had and that dog had the joy of running all over the pastures...which is what he was created to do..and assisted my grandfather with the sheep.

Have a great weekend..enjoy your post.

I love the dust cloud. Pick up all of your kids and Sasha and come see me! I loved this and love that I live in Oklahoma where there are no rules. I would be in trouble all the time in California. I love you and miss you.
