First Finishes for 2012

I needed some sunflower therapy this morning. I miss my sunflowers that always lift my spirits
no matter what.
Okay after a really crazy day yesterday. I have no idea but I finally have two finished projects
to show you. First Ta Da!!! Before my grand daughter has her 1st birthday her quilt.
and then  I had some extra blocks left over so I made her a pillow. I know she is too little
for a pillow but I like making pillows.
I know it is January now but I finally finished my little Word Play for December. It did
turn out very cute if I don't say so myself. I love Brenda Gervais designs so much.
I had noticed the last time I was in the yardage store that they had red and white ticking.
I love working with ticking so I went down and bought some to use as backing for this design.
I really like how it looks, maybe next time I will dye it all and then it will look old.
I just couldn't dye this one, this was a fun pattern.

I am now caught up and I have finished my December projects now I can move on to
2012 projects. I have lots already going on in this brain of mine. I am looking forward
to a weekend. I had a doozy of a week.

Your projects turned out great! You're so crafty! I think I do alright until I see what someone like you can do and then I know I have quite a long way to go! But, you are an inspiration and so I will continue to give it my best effort!
