Air Layering a Maple Tree

I thought I would show you my husband's hobby of Bonsai. He made a video of one of the ways you get new subjects.
I am pretty proud of it and him.
The reason you do air layering is to get a whole new tree from the base tree. It just amazed me all of the things that you can do with trees. Bonsai really is interesting and all of the different things to try that I never even heard of or ever saw.
Thanks for watching,
~Kim~

Kim, I've heard of air layering but I've never seen it done this way. I've seen it wrapped in plastic but this is brilliant.
I sure hope to see the results later on please. Your husband sounds just like a TV garden host. Great job on the video and thanks for sharing.
