No Sew Weekend

This has been a no sew weekend. It has been a very nice
4 days. Just no sewing because I was cleaning. I am so sore I can hardly move though.
My husband took Friday and Monday off so we could get to
chores that we seem to over look. But spring is coming so we
are racing the clock to get our tree work finished.

So this weekend we did this:
1. Plowed pasture
2. Moved railroad ties and moved them back after we got the
grass cleaned out from under them.
3. While he was plowing I was chopping all the weeds in the garden
area he couldn't get the tractor next to, due to my herbs.

4. Cleaned and rearranged my daughter's bedroom and boxed
a bookcase full of books.
5. While I did that, my husband cleaned my shed, which really should
be called Kim's Attic.
6. My husband moved the bookcase over to my daughters house. You can see
it here in her before and after.
7. My husband went to the feed store and bought feed for me.
8. Removed two trees.
9. Planted two trees.
10. My husband helped me to rearrange our bedroom.
11. We moved two bookcases and reloaded them.

12. I have done laundry all day.
13 Moved a computer desk and cleaned behind it.
14. I have vacuumed the whole house.
15. We ran kids back and forth to work.

I think one of these 4 day weekend though, instead of
working we need to go to the beach.

Thanks for stopping by,

~Kim~

I thought it WAS called Kim's Attic. ;)

Wow, you guys were busy this weekend! I'm glad dad got 4 days off to "relax", since I know working at home is what he likes best. Is your room back to the way it was before?

Ok-I am feeling like such an under achiever here. I didn’t do much of anything compared to you. You all were kicking butt and taking names this weekend--awesome!! I had company and so we visited and ate a lot. Gosh I bet it feels good to wake up sore knowing you had gotten so much done! You go girl!

When you hadn't updated this morning, I figured you were out there working. Bookcases do take more than one day to tame! I hope you're not totally stove up tomorrow.

How does it feel besides sore? Did you get done what you wanted to? I think we are soul sisters. I work like that too. Makes my daughters look forward to going to school where they can just sit. hehe

Oh! I keep forgetting to tell you thank you for the eggs! I was very excited when W brought them over Saturday, and the boys have been very happy to have "Brown chicken eggs from Gama Kim". :D They're so much better than store bought!

I think I'm sore just reading about your weekend! Wow, you were busy. I love the name for your shed...I think mine should be the same, just replaced with my name :-)
Have a wonderful week.
Blessings,
Marcia

WOW! Kim, you were busy, and I thought I had a busy schedule. But what a wonderful feeling when it is done. My dh is helpful too, and when I want to rearrange he just jumps in and helps too.
Enjoy your day.
Hugs, Sue

What a productive weekend...give yourself a big pat on the back and plan that trip to the beach.
Enjoy the fruit of your hands.

Kim,

You've got me exhausted just reading about what you have been doing, and that is a lot of hard work. I love the picture of the plowed pasture, that is a lot of land, and I like all the privacy, I can't see any neighbors homes in the distance :o)

God bless, and have a nice relaxing day
Michele
