Twenty Things I Love About Fall

I was walking around just being happy I was alive,
and I was thinking to myself why I was happy and I
thought I haven't wrote a twenty things I love about
fall list so I thought I would do one today.

Things I love about Fall.
  1. Pumpkins
  2. Cooler weather
  3. Fires in the stove
  4. Pies, lots of pies
  5. Soup simmering on the stove
  6. Being out in the cold and coming in to a warm house.
  7. Dreaming in front of the fire
  8. Sewing when there is a storm
  9. Storms
  10. I love wearing coats
  11. Frost sparkling in the early morning light
  12. Candles burning on my shelves
  13. A great Thanksgiving feast
  14. My kids the day after eating and eating
  15. Waking up in the early morning light and being thankful for warm covers
  16. Having my husband beside me wherever I am
  17. Sitting and looking at seed catalogs
  18. Being aware of all of God's goodness and His mercy
  19. Watching the leaves falling from the trees
  20. Finding the bird nests in the trees that were hidden all summer

I think I could keep on going to 100 things I love about
fall because it is just so easy to love. I hope you have a
very nice fall kind of day.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, for His wonderful works to the children of men!

(Psalm. 107:6)

Now that it's finally fall here, I heartily agree with every one of those 20! I could even add some of my own. Hmm, might be a good blog post topic. :-)

Good Morning Kim, you have just named twenty of my favorite things and like you have hundreds more too. What a wonderful and gracious God to give us so many blessings each day, and now dear Friend may your day be filled to the brim with many more blessings,
Hugs, Sue

Yes x 20 ! I could probably join you on the list of 100. One of them is NOT picking 200 heads of lettuce for our customer like I did yesterday or washiing eggs from our 200+ hens. Work is work, and I'm always thankful that I am able! I guess I could add that to my list, huh?

Oh I love your list...I also love to sew in a storm..or rain!!
I went yesterday and found the most wonderful quilt to start for my one day grand babies...it is Sunday School Singers...it has little children with words from Sunday School Songs...I can't wait to start and so I need a good storm.
Thanks for your prayers and your precious emails...I still laugh about the story of what your kids pulled...I told mine and they burst into laughter...can so relate

Your list is inspiring, even thought it's still in the 70's in Texas... I'm waiting! :)

I love your entire list. I would add hearing the crunch of leaves underfoot in tall leather boots!

"17. Sitting and looking at seed catalogs" Uh huh, yeah. Miss "I'm so tired of the garden I don't know if I'll do it again next year."

All of the above, but I think I'd have to add Hot chocolate to that list!

though I am totally a summer girl, there are many things to love about fall...i sat on my friend's back porch today and soaked in the brilliant colors of the trees around me--it was intoxicating and led to much praise of the Creator who glories in such colors!!

I love all those things of things about the fall but the cooler weather. It's when my arthritis kicks in and my mood changes to mildly depressed when the sky is gray and rainy for a while. I feel much better at the beginning of all the seasons as opposed the ends for some reason. It's so nice that you feel so positive about all those things in the fall. Thanks for sharing. JB
