Sunday Ramblings

I was out browsing through my flowers today.
I just thought these were beautiful. This is a new
plant and these are the first blooms.

I finally finished my counted cross stitch I have
been working on and my eyes will never be the
same.

It was fun and I have never done a one quite
this big before. I made myself stick it out. I have
a short attention span I realized and I get halfway
and I am ready to do something else.
But it is finished now and I will let myself think
of a new project.

I hope you have a lovely Sunday.

Hello Dear Kim,
I am so enjoying catching up with you this evening, Your flowers are beautiful and I am so glad you stuck to your guns and didn't pull what looked like weeds. lol They are very unusual, and I like unusual flowers.
Your cross stitch is beautiful, I used to do cross stitch and really enjoyed it, but haven't in a long while.Maybe when things slow done here. lol, I am beginning to wonder if it will. lol. It seems you are having visits from a fox just like we are. And you are right, that sly ole' fox is checking out your chickens We have lost so many chickens and guineas this year to fox. I am not happy about it either. I really laughed at you barking like a dog, now that is something I would do. Sasha really is a smart dog.
Thank you for sharing this recipe. Great improvising, sometimes the best recipes come about that way.
I have been so busy, my cucumbers, squash, beets, and berries are all coming off, plus I have been painting the porch too. Needless to say I am tired. lol. But you have to get it while it is coming off, produce will not wait for you. I am having to do pickle relish today, I so enjoy canning and making things out of our produce, I just didn't anticipate so much at one time.lol.
I will try and post soon, if not, I most certainly will be seeing how your days are going. Reading about your days bless me so much.
Much love,
Sue

Your cross stitch is just lovely. I love samplers and use to enjoy stitching them till I realized I needed a magnifier to see what I was stitching. It was time to move on to a new hobby, primitive rug hooking. Your flower garden is gorgeous. I so enjoyed the post about you and the fox, you would fit quite nicely in my neighborhood!
