Fiber Friday

I am hoping for a storm today on Fiber Friday.
That way I can stay in the house and ignore
the weeds. I can be Farm Girl another day.
Today I want to work on projects.

This is the first one I want to work on, I want to
make a tiny quilt for one of my tables but I wanted
to use all of this pretty spring fabric I have leftover
from something else I made.

I then want to work on this new pattern for needle punch.
I think it is the cutest little rooster. I went last night
and bought the colors for the pattern. I think what
I love about needle punch is I bought 4 skeins of
embroidery floss for 35 cents a skeins and I already
had the pattern that I paid 2.00 dollars for in a mark
down sale so it isn't like some projects I have got into
that cost a arm and a leg.

Then last but not least, this is my rug. I made the
star yesterday and I was so happy. It looks like
it is supposed to, and I am going to work on that
later this afternoon.
I do love fiber Fridays! I love that my house is all cleaned
and the laundry finished so I get to spend a day doing
sewing projects. I was thinking this morning when God
finished up creating the world and all that is in it and finished
up the day with creating Adam and Eve and said it was very
good, it was a Friday. Then He rested on Saturday. That is how I
feel about Fridays, they are very good. ( Oh I might add, God didn't rest
because he was tired, God doesn't get tired.)
Have a good one.

Your projects look like fun. I am especially interested in the starfish needle punch! I love Fridays, too...we can't wait until Daddy is home for the weekend! Enjoy yours.

Yay! Fiber Friday! Our neighbor is going to pop any day now, so I need to work on the blanket for her upcoming little one. I'm afraid it will be like the blanket you made for Duder and he wont' come until I'm finished. :P

I can't wait to see your finished projects! I think a spring quilt will be fantastic and that rooster is the cutest thing ever.

You need to come see the hutch we got at Goodwill last night. $25!!

Your star rug is cute...what will you use it for? I love the chicken pattern...hope to see that when you finish it! Have a lovely week. And remember, even if you don't see them, the fairies are there...and they do love to help!!!
